Fun Chi Run/Walk Community
Want to learn how to apply the principles of Tai Chi to running and walking? Join Angela's regular Saturday community run/walk. The results will allow you to run/walk with less effort and fewer injuries. All levels of runners and walkers are welcome.
You will have the opportunity to train for a 10 km (e.g. the Sun Run in April) or the Vancouver full or half marathon at the beginning of May. Because chirunning or walking is process oriented, you may just want to learn the technique and form focuses. Jump Start 2012 with a great opportunity to learn chirunning over the next few months. Like any skill, it is all about the frequency of the practice
Meeting at 9:00am on Granville Island under the covered area behind the Cat's Social house [map].
Note: If there is a workshop or retreat on Saturday morning, the fun run will not commence. If you are not sure, please confirm with Angela.
Private Sessions
Please note, time and place will be arranged accordingly (depending on where you are located and availability).
Allow one and a half hours for each session which will include body loosening exercises, form focuses for chirunning and stretching afterwards.
What are the Workshops?
Angela's workshops focus on the many exercises and drills designed to leave you with a clear sense of what ChiRunning technique feels like in your body.
We won't be doing a lot of running during the workshop. The focus will be on building a solid base of knowledge that you will carry forward in your running program.

You'll get a chance to purchase all the available study material at the workshops. Angela will provide an expert explanation how to use the metronome and journal to help you achieve your running goals and become great at ChiRunning.
Danny Dreyer's DVD and updated book are great companions for your workouts. You can read up on all the details of the technique and if you're interested to learn more, Angela is there to help.
